Sir Alex har innsett at han må justere taktikken for å erstatte Ronaldo. For å vinne Premier League og Champions League mener Sir Alex at United scorer over 100 mål denne sesongen, noe som krever at flere mål må komme fra midtbanen. Den kommende sesongen vil vi altså se United spille en litt annerledes type fotball.
«Obviously Cristiano is a big loss in terms of the goals he gave us. But we will just have to find the goals from somewhere else and our tactics will adjust accordingly. Fans will see us playing a slightly different style of football this season.»
