Fletcher har vært ute i Manchester Evening News å gitt klar beskjed om at United ikke ser på Liverpool som et dårlig lag. Forsåvidt greit det – kampene mellom United og Liverpool lever alltid sitt eget liv, og søndagens kamp er ikke noe unntak. Begge lagene har mye på spill, mens United kjemper om ligagullet ligger Liverpool dårlig an i kampen om fjerdeplassen.
